Poplar buds are sticky resinous little buggers, but they have some potent healing properties. The buds contain salicylic acid which gives them an analgesic effect, plus they have antiseptic and wound-healing properties. The balm has been used to treat psoriasis, dry eczema, joint and muscle pain, external inflammations and rheumatic ailments. The buds are infused in organic extra virgin cold pressed olive oil, combined with Calendula oil and essential oils of Cajeput, Clove and Lavender. 2 oz. tin.
